Do you know that the small things you did this year mattered more than you realize? Things like showing up when it was hard, choosing to keep going when quitting felt easier, or getting out of bed on days when hope felt distant. The Bible says, “The Lord knows the days of the upright, and their inheritance shall be forever” [Psalm 37:18]. God noticed every quiet act of endurance, even when no one applauded it.

Many mothers carry burdens they never speak about. They absorb pain so their children don’t have to. They extend their strength far beyond what feels humanly possible. They choose happiness for their family even when it costs them tears behind closed doors. And often, the world may call this strength, but God knows it is a sacrifice.

There are seasons when life feels like a continuous battle. You wake up each day trying to hold yourself together, managing pain, carrying disappointments, and simply trying to get through the hours without breaking. Survival becomes your default setting, not because you’re weak, but because life has demanded strength from you again and again. But while survival is sometimes necessary, it is not where God intends for you to stay.
